Cancellation policy

BEFORE BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT OR REGISTER TO A COURSE, PLEASE READ THIS CANCELLATION POLICY CAREFULLY.

 

For appointments:

 

If for any reason you need to cancel your appointment we kindly ask you to notify us at least 24 hrs prior to your appointment. When you book an appointment, that time is set aside for you and missed appointments prevent us from accommodating other patients. If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment and did not notify us at least 24 hrs in advance, you will be required to pay the cancellation fee (30% of the service booked). If an emergency situation arises, please let us know so that we can address your specific situation. We recognize that there are circumstances out of your control (sudden illness, family emergencies, etc.) and your therapist may make an exception to the above policy on those rare occasions. If you choose so we can give you a receipt for the charged fee.

For courses:

Cancellation Policy:

  • No refund will be provided for cancellations made less than two weeks in advance, or in case of no-show.

  • For cancellations made two or more weeks in advance a cancellation fee of 30% of the course booked will be applied.

Rescheduling Policy:

  • If a client wishes to reschedule or make any changes to his/her course selection prior to two weeks of the scheduled course, an admin fee of $50+tax ($90+tax for First Responder courses and recertifications) will be applied. Any request for rescheduling, changes or switches made within two weeks prior to the beginning of a course is not allowed and no refunds would be applicable.

  • Please note that rescheduling will be subjected to course availability.

  • The rescheduling fee will be waived if the reason for rescheduling is in regards to the COVID-19 screening questionnaire.

Attendance Policy:

If you fail to show up or miss your class for any reason, you will not be eligible for any refund or compensation and you will have to sign up for a new course. 

Course Policies:

Ollin Therapy reserves the right to change, cancel or relocate the course. 

Late Policy:

According to Canadian Red Cross guidelines, our instructors will not admit any student who has arrived at the course later than 20 minutes for any reason. This is strictly enforced, please make sure you are on time for your class. If you miss your class, you would not be eligible for any refund or compensation and you would have to sign up for a new course. 

Physical Activity Disclaimer:
For most individuals, the physical activity involved in the course should not pose a threat to your health. A small number of individuals may find the physical skill demonstrations required by the Canadian Red Cross strenuous. If you have a history of heart attack, heart conditions, respiratory problems, physical disabilities, are pregnant, or have muscle, bone, or joint injuries, we strongly recommend that you do not participate in the skills portion of the course until you consult a physician. If you are unsure as to whether or not you should participate in your scheduled course, please call us directly. If you wish to remain in the course but cannot physically perform all of the skills required by the Canadian Red Cross you will receive a participation letter instead of a certification.

Photography disclaimer:

By registering and attending this training on the date chosen by the customer, the customer grants Ollin Therapy and it's authorized representatives, permission to photograph them. (Photos/images taken at this event may be be used to promote similar Ollin Therapy events and training in the future, highlight the event and exhibit the capabilities, products and/or services of Ollin Therapy). Please contact the event organiser if you have any concerns or if you wish to be exempted from this activity.

If we alter our Cancellation Policy, any changes will be posted on this page of our Site so that you are always informed of the information we collect about you, how we use it and the circumstances under which we may disclose it.
